Exercise and Fitness

The demands of our modern lifestyle, coupled with the lack of physical activity have set us on course towards a multiplicity of chronic debilitating illnesses.

Movement is a critical pillar of good health. But optimal benefits from exercise require knowledge and familiarity with some basic principles and sequence. Our patients have the option to work one on one with an exercise physiologist.

We have designed an exercise regimen that complements the Protect-My-Heart Program or the management of any chronic illness. It consists of a series of activities to be completed 3 days per week, with at least one day of rest between each session. 

Each session runs an hour and begins with a warm-up, followed by a specific set of resistance exercise for that day, followed by aerobic high-intensity interval training, and closing with a cool down.

The program is based on solid physiological principles with the unique aspect of having a sitting only option for those with physical impairments. Our patients /clients also have the option to work one on one with an exercise physiologist.

The use of this exercise video is password protected and is open only to our patients or clients.
